The PTBE Employment Network, in its fourth year, is designed to help unemployed and under-employed members of our community find new employment opportunities. As of July 2010 our program has involved more than 100 congregants (as volunteers, network partners and job seekers) and more than twenty five people have successfully found new work. A new service of the program is assisting the sons and daughters of our congregants who are recent college grads launch into a professional career in this tight economy.

Please take the time to read through our congregants' summary profiles and see if you know of any job openings, connections or ideas for employment that could help any of the Job Seekers. If so, please contact the network chair, Joan Tabb-Waisbein (joantabb@gmail.com or 650-372-0875) or Lolli Freedman in the temple office (lfreedman@ptbe.org or 650-341-7701) and we will get that information to the appropriate Job Seeker.  

Networking Partners 
Our volunteer networking partners are comprised of congregants who are well-connected, professional members of the community. Through their generous contacts, leads and referrals they give broad exposure to Job Seekers, in hopes that they can help in finding new employment opportunities. Please contact us if you are willing to be paired with appropriate job seekers to offer a professional coaching and job assistance role.
