 GREEN SYNAPLEX SHABBAT
Tu'B'Shevat - Jewish New Year for the Trees
A Shabbat Celebrating OUr Jewish Environmental Roots
Presented by Tikkun Adamah - The Green Team
February 10-11

Shabbat is at the center of life at Peninsula Temple Beth El.

Our Kabbalat Shabbat Services begin at 6:30 pm except for the last Friday of the month when the service starts at
7:30 pm.

Experience the joy of Shabbat with Elana Jagoda Kaye and The Hallelu Band, usually held on the first Shabbat of the month. Elana and the band open the door to contemporary worship through musical presentation and congregational singing. Piano, percussion, guitar, violin and cello fill the sanctuary with a rich, vibrant resonance-all blending to create a joyous Shabbat worship experience for all ages.

Shabbat Unplugged is a different kind of worship experience.  Shabbat Unplugged offers a meaningful way to "unplug" from our work week and transition into Shabbat. With Elana and Saul Kaye on guitar, join our rabbis in inspirational and soulful prayer, music and reflection. Shabbat Unplugges will generally be held the third Friday of the month. The next Shabbat Unplugged will be
January 13.

Shabbat morning begins with Torah Study at 9:00 am.  Our Shabbat morning service begins at 10:30 am and includes a Torah service. Our Shabbat morning service is designed to provide an inclusive experience for all who come to worship in our sanctuary.

There are often enhancements to the Shabbat experience. Please consult the calendar for this week's opportunities.

Tot Shabbat, designed for newborns through pre-schoolers, is held monthly at 9:00 am. Celebrate Shabbat with a morning service filled with songs and stories, an Oneg Shabbat snack, and time on the playground.
