Brotherhood Fitzgerald Marine Park tidepools Photowalk May 2016
On May 29, several brotherhood members and a friend or two took the short trip to the Fitzgerald Marine Park to enjoy the coast and try our luck at capturing images in and around the tide pools. The James V. Fitzgerald Marine Reserve at Moss Beach is one of eighteen 'MPA's' (Marine Protected Areas) established between Half Moon Bay and Mendocino County and has also been identified by the State of California as one of 34 coastal habitats having "Special Biological Significance". It was a nice outing if a quiet day in the tide pools themselves.
Brotherhood will be scheduling more of these photo shoots in the future. They are open to anyone interested in photography, whether a beginner or serious enthusiast.
Here are some photographs made that morning by <<>>.
