A beautiful tradition at Peninsula Temple Beth El has been the opportunity to remember our departed loved ones by inscribing their names in our annual Scroll of Remembrance.  As part of the Yizkor service, observed four times a year, we remember those who have departed from this world.  The Scroll of Remembrance is an online “book” which will be displayed during the Yizkor service and will continue to be available at your fingertips through the entire year. You can continue to submit names of loved ones all year long.

To include the names of your loved ones in this Scroll of Remembrance, please follow the steps below. The requested donation is $18 per name, which can be paid by credit card or by check; indicate your preference and complete your submission! As always, your contribution enables us to continue our outstanding temple programs and strengthen our community.

STEP 1:  Go to https://wizevents.com/ptbe-remembrance/ and type your family name in the Search Box.

If your name shows up underneath, click on it. You have a page in the scroll, and you will see loved one’s names displayed on a slide below. Count the number of loved ones and keep the information handy. Do you have names to add? Continue to Step 2.

If no name shows up, it means you do not have a digital subscription yet. Prepare a list of loved ones for a new slide, count them, and keep the information handy. Continue to Step 2.

STEP 2: Click SUBMIT NAMES & MAKE DONATION on the navigation ribbon.

This will bring you to the renewal/new subscription page. Complete the renewal/new subscription process by following the instructions on the page.
