Teen Leadership Opportunities
Madrichim (9th -12th Grade)
Madrichim assist our teachers to guide our younger students in their Judaic and Hebrew studies. They lead by example and model what it means to be a mensch. Madrichim form an invaluable support network and provide extra hands, eyes, and ears for our teachers. They serve our education programs in a myriad of ways: sharing a story with the students, helping out with an art project, assisting in leading a lesson, tutoring a student in Hebrew, building relationships with the students, co-managing the classroom, and participating in activities.
Frequency: 1x/week, plus required professional development & training sessions
Important Information about Madrichim:
These are employment positions. They require a level of time management and accountability that may be new to some teens, so it’s important to plan ahead before making this type of commitment. Please register your student first through the ShulCloud portal, and then you will receive an application. You must apply using the application form that will be sent in your confirmation email after registering. Once your application is submitted an interview will be scheduled. We look forward to working with our new crew of amazing teen leaders!
