Rabbi Lisa and Lisa Meltzer Penn will lead a discussion and will apply a Jewish and literary lens, as we continue on the theme of "Sacred Listening."
Ain’t No Grave by Mary Glickman explores the evolving friendship of a Jewish boy and a Black girl from backwoods Georgia through their adulthood in 1913 Atlanta, where they become enmeshed in the pivotal murder trial of Leo Frank and witness the growth of antisemitism in the region.
Books are now available to pick up in the temple office during business hours Mon-Fri.
